Hi, I’m Andy and welcome to Fresh Eyes Marketing…

Do you remember the 2009 financial meltdown aka the ‘Credit Crunch’? Well I do! In the summer of 2008 I left Leeds Metropolitan University with a BA (hons) Business Studies 2:1 and my dissertation being on Branding where I gained a 1st. After 3 years of uni work I decided to take a break and enjoy the summer. During that time I travelled to Italy, Spain and Turkey however reality hit home shortly after my return. Unfortunately I was a recent graduate with limited working experience and striving for experience at a time of a global economic crisis was a graduate’s nightmare. After touting my skills to anyone who would listen and getting nowhere, I decided enough was enough. Totally frustrated at the lack of opportunities I decided to set up my own consultancy and gain experience myself. And there you have it, Fresh Eyes Marketing Ltd was formed.

OK, I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve come a long, long way since it’s formation…

When I started Fresh Eyes Marketing I didn’t really know what to expect. I was keen and eager to impress and I’ve always worked (and still work) to one principle – “if you think you can, you can, and if you think you can’t, your right”. For me this was all I needed… oh how wrong I was!

Fortunately I got my first working role shortly after starting my business (3 months in fact). Nevertheless my plan worked; I gained valuable experience and in the process I helped small businesses grow – something I’m extremely proud of.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at EKW Group, I can’t thank them enough really; they gave me an opportunity and I’ve never looked back. I’ve added considerable value to the business over the last two years and during that period I’ve learnt a hell of a lot!

I now feel it’s time to continue what I started back in 2009; I want to share my passion for marketing and help small businesses grow. So let’s begin…
